Zechariah 4:6 (Amplified Bible)
6 Then he said to me, This [addition of the bowl to the candlestick, causing it to yield a ceaseless supply of oil from the olive trees] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of Whom the oil is a symbol], says the Lord of hosts.

Read all of Zechariah 4. I just love this Scripture! I love the Amplified Bible version because it says "a ceaseless supply of oil from the olive trees." How awesome is that?! Whenever God speaks to us, we should "wake up" and do what He says - by His might and power - not ours. A candlestick is the light. This should be the church. We need to "wake up," forget about our problems (God has our back anyway) and go do what God has told us to do. It is about time we get out of the four walls of the church, take the Gospel to the streets and bring in souls. Why are we so concerned about the "mountains" in our way? Nothing is too hard for God. He can remove those mountains our of our way. I just don't understand why we are so concerned about the "stuff" that we think is in our way when there are so many people hurting out there. It is by God's Spirit that we can bring them into the Kingdom of God. If we are in our right positions, then the anointing will flow - the Spirit of God will flow and bring forth the light into a world of darkness. Our present condition should be a full relationship with our Lord and Savior. Why aren't we in our positions? Some of us have been in church for years and years and still dealing with "stuff." Get rid of it, drop it and get moving. Lives are depending on us being in our right positions and ready to tell the good news. Let us have a passion for the lost!

I just want to strengthen and encourage you to seek God. He has all sufficient power. He has the power to built His church by His Spirit, not by man's power. If we do what He says, there will be a ceaseless supply of oil. Amen!! Even if there is opposition to the Gospel, He still has the power. Sometimes opposition comes from inside the church. That is just so sad. But if we are right with God, letting His oil flow through us, souls will come into the Kingdom. We need to let go of our petty jealousy and stop being so defensive because there is so much more evangelism to be done; so many more souls that needs to come into the Kingdom. Are we really doing our jobs that God has given us to do? Don't just think about this - seek God, ask for forgiveness, get it right and get moving!
