1 PETER 5:5-11 NIV


5 Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."[a] 6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. 11 To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.
God wants us to be humble before Him. Pride disturbs peace so always be humble. Young people should be listening to their leaders. In His time, God will lift you up. This generation is coming up fast and is on fire for God! Also people who are young in the Lord are also coming up fast with a passion for God. Thank you Lord!! But listen to your leaders, who the Lord placed over you to feed you with the Word, to teach you and take care of you. Cast everything to God and He will care for you. Everything that is going on all around you, just give it to Him. Commit everything to God...be sold out for Jesus! He knows what you need and will give you rest. Walk in unity with your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Be careful because the enemy will try to destroy you. Not so! Keep your eye on God, seek Him and STAND FIRM. He uses the same old tricks. He can't bring anything new to harm you. He might come as a "roaring lion" and because of his rage, will try to scare you but he cannot destroy you. Resist the enemy. There is temptation but there is only one God. We are responsible, however, for our own choices so choose God. Victory can only come through God.

God is faithful and will take care of you. Many people all over the world suffer for the Lord for righteousness' sake. It is just for a time. This is good - He will restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast! Whaaa hooo!!! Thank you Lord! God is in control of all things. To Him be all the Glory and the Power forever and ever!!
