Luke 11:33-36 NIV

33 "No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead he puts it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light. 34 Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are good, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are bad, your body also is full of darkness. 35 See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness. 36 Therefore, if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it dark, it will be completely lighted, as when the light of a lamp shines on you."

We should pray all the time and make sure our light is shining. Keep your eyes on God. Make sure that our light is FULL of light and make sure there is no part of us that is dark. If we keep our distance from God, then we will not have full light and will not be able to bring anyone in the Kingdom. We just won't reflect the light of Jesus. If we have the knowledge of God, then we can shine the light on others. Jesus did not preach in secret. He preached on the streets, in the temple, synagogues. Basically He preached in public. If our eyes are on Jesus, then our whole body and soul will be full of light. But if our eyes wander into any parts of darkness, the light won't shine through. The Gospel brings light and joy into any room. Thank you Jesus! Again, if our eyes are fixed on Him and our aim is to please Him, then we will be full. So read the Word, keep your eyes fixed on Him and show the light of Jesus to others!
