Galatians 5:22-23

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Well I'm still on the Fruit of the Spirit. The next one is faithfulness. Definition of faithfulness - 1. adhering firmly and devotedly, as to a person, cause or idea; loyal.
2. Having or full of faith; 3. Worthy of trust or belief, reliable; 4. Consistent with truth or actuality.
Faithfulness is something that we think or value as important and it is combined with commitment. If we think a friend, school, our work is very important, we will be faithful to them or it. We will want to defend them/it. We must love Jesus faithfully. We need to be faithful to His cause model ourselves after God. He is always faithful to us; He never fails us.

If we are faithful, we keep our word. God always keeps His Word. Sometimes we don't understand what God is doing but we still need to be faithful and obedient. When God told Noah to build the ark, Noah didn't quite understand and he knew that people would be making fun of him. But Noah was faithful to God and did what he was told to do. God was faithful to Noah. God promised him and his family protection but Noah also felt like he was in prison in the ark because of being in it for such a long time. Noah could have thought that God had simply forgotten him. But he didn't - he knew that God was a faithful God and would never fail him. Eventually the flood ended and Noah and his family were safe, just as God promised.

Faithful people can be counted on to do what they said they would do. Other people might try to get them to change their minds but they won't budge and trust in what they believe. God will help us to stand firm and remain faithful to Him, even when people are telling us to do or say wrong things. By doing what God tells us to do, we are being faithful to Him. There are examples of faithfulness in
the Bible - people who are just like us. We can learn from them. Ask Him to help you become more faithful in our actions.
