Romans 5:10 (The Message)
9-11Now that we are set right with God by means of this sacrificial death, the consummate blood sacrifice, there is no longer a question of being at odds with God in any way. If, when we were at our worst, we were put on friendly terms with God by the sacrificial death of his Son, now that we're at our best, just think of how our lives will expand and deepen by means of his resurrection life! Now that we have actually received this amazing friendship with God, we are no longer content to simply say it in plodding prose. We sing and shout our praises to God through Jesus, the Messiah

This is a good Scripture! Not only by the cross are our sins forgiven but we should be rejoicing that through His resurrection, He lives in us once we accepted Jesus into our hearts. Others should be seeing through us that God is still alive and well. As believers we experience the joy of God in our hearts. It is the knowledge of His love that we have a relationship with Him. His peace that surpasses all understanding comes over us. As believers, we have this awesome friendship with God. It is overflowing in our hearts. We have joy, peace, a love for God and for all people but we also have assurance, steadfastness and confidence and courage in our faith.
Paul is saying in verse 10 that we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son and we should be even more excited because since we have been reconciled, we are saved through His life! Salvation means nothing unless Jesus is risen from the dead. Before Jesus died, He spoke to His disciples and said in John 14:19 "Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live." This statement should be a great comfort to us. That is just so good! God is alive right now and is in our midst. Jesus died but He rose to hear our us and have a relationship with us. Talk to Him now and see that His promises are true.
