Hebrews 10:14-17 (New Century Version)

14 With one sacrifice he made perfect forever those who are being made holy.
15 The Holy Spirit also tells us about this. First he says: 16 "This is the agreement[a] I will make with them at that time, says the Lord. I will put my teachings in their hearts and write them on their minds." — Jeremiah 31:33 17 Then he says: "Their sins and the evil things they do— I will not remember anymore." — Jeremiah 31:34

Today is Good Friday. Let us remember the sacrifice of Jesus dying on the cross. This was the perfect sacrifice. God gave a contract to His people through Jesus Christ. How awesome is that?! As believers, let us reflect today what Jesus did for us on the cross. If you are not a believer, you can accept Jesus as your personal Savior. What do I mean by that statement? The Bible tells us that we have all committed sins and evil acts (Romans 10:3-18). Because sins committed against God deserves punishment (Romans 6:23 and Revelation 20:11-15), we need a Savior! Jesus came to earth and died in our place. Jesus paid the price for all our sins (Romans 5:8). He paid the price so we wouldn't have too.
After He died on the cross, Jesus rose again on the 3rd day. We celebrate this as Resurrection Sunday. Jesus died for us but He also rose again and is alive in us today. When you accept Jesus as your Savior, there is such a warm, good feeling that comes over you. You are excited! Why? Because He is alive in your heart! It's simple! Just ask him to come into your heart. Tell Him you are sorry for your sins and then thank Him that He gave His only Son for you. Ask Him to help you grow in a personal relationship with Him. Talk to Him. Accepting Him into your heart means that you place your own personal faith and trust in Him. Jesus is alive and well and will help you with your problems. He truly loves You. There is so much more to learn about Jesus. Important things to do are to get a Bible, actually open it up and read it, find a good Bible teaching church and fellowship with other believers. As you study the Bible more and more, you will be strengthened, excited about God, encouraged and so much more. It is an exciting journey! Love you and hope you are blessed beyond measure!
