Psalm 139:7-10 (New King James Version)
7 Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? 8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me.

We cannot hide from God. He sees us at all times. The Psalmist is not trying to hide from God. He is saying that no matter where he goes, God sees everything he does. He is saying that nothing can separate him from his Father. No matter where - even the uttermost parts of the sea - God will still be there leading him and guiding him. That is what He does with us. No matter what we are going through, we can be comforted by the fact that we are not alone. He knows every difficulty that we will face throughout the day - every day. Because of this, God can give what we need to help us go through our through and just to face our day to day situations. His Holy Spirit is everywhere; telling us where to turn and what to say. We just have to listen and obey Him. No matter where we are at, God's hand leads us.

His right hand holds us...that is just so good! He holds us so we will not slip and fall. If we listen, He will hold us from going the wrong way. But we have to be obedient and listen to Him. Nevertheless, God is so good that even if we "choose" to fall, He will pick us back up and hold us again. God is so good that He is there when we rise up and is there when we are down. David loved that God was with Him; that He saw everything he did. He saw it as a good thing. We cannot see when it is dark - when we are in pitch dark but God can and He can lead us out of the darkness into the light. Ask the Lord today to show you the way. Thank Him for being with you every step that you take. Father, we ask you to think, speak and act through us each and every day. Thank You for holding us in the palm of Your hand!
