John 4:23 New Century Version
23 The time is coming when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, and that time is here already. You see, the Father too is actively seeking such people to worship him.

When Adam sinned, the relationship was broken but Jesus fully recovered the relationship between God and man. So now it was even better than before because now the relationship was higher. It is a Father and Son relationship. Hebrews 4:14-16 says (Message Bible) "Now that we know what we have - Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God - let's not let is slip through our fingers. We don't have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He's been through weakness and testing, experienced it all - all but the sin. So let's walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help." This is full access to the Father. In John 14:6 it says that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me. In John 14:10-11 Jesus says "Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in me." There is a heart to heart connection here. Jesus heart is the Father's heart and the Father's heart is Jesus' heart. Hearts are drawn to Him and drawn to one another.
We can start this heart to heart connection by accepting Jesus and speaking to our Father. Read in the Bible about what Jesus said to His Father. Search what Jesus spoke to Him and then imitate Jesus. Develop a relationship with Him. Talk to your Father and wait patiently for Him to speak back. A relationship will develop. We need to have a passion of the heart to our Father. Draw near to His heart. If we have conversations with our Father, it will have an effect on us. It will help us to have a commitment to a relationship with our one true love. As children of God, we need a mature Father - child connection. We must love like God. His love is unconditional. God is a perfect Father. He is patient with us, forgives us and loves us unconditionally. In I John 3:1 (Amplified Bible) it says: See what [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! The reason the world does not know (recognize, acknowledge) us is that it does not know (recognize, acknowledge) Him." We are His children - how awesome is that! And we have a true heart to heart connection with Him! Worship Him, talk to Him and love Him with all your heart. Draw on His heart, His love for His children! Seek Him!
